It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Warren, on March 12th, 2014. Dot passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the East Cumberland Lodge, after months of failing health.
Dot was a giving soul who loved to love, care, and share wisdom to others at special times in their lives, when it was needed for them to hear or be shown. She was wise in ways we will never really comprehend, and special in the eyes of so many whose lives she touched, no matter where she was or what her circumstances were. Her compassion, courage and strength will be remembered and rejoiced by us all.
She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Margaret Murray, brothers William and Arnold, and sister Margaret.
She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth, children Linda, Kathy, Nancy and Andrew (Leah); grandchildren, Aimee and Nigel Gauvin, and Olivia; sister Joyce Mitchell, and family Sis Fraser and others.
A graveside memorial service will be arranged for interment in Hillside cemetery at a future date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.brownsfuneralhome.com and for those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada.
