SCRIBNER, ANNA - With sadness the family announces the passing of Edith “Anna” Scribner who passed on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1943 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Edith (Midgley) Bennett. Anna enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived her life simple; she loved God and was always welcoming to all. She is survived by her children Kevin (Lorraine) Scribner of Alberta, BC, Deborah (Brent) Hobden of Vancouver, BC, Darlene (Peter M.) Perry of Saint John, Roy (Heather) Scribner also of Saint John, Wendy (Wade) Wilson of Ontario and Tanya (Matthew) Glenn of Saint John; grandchildren Madison, Meghan, Brady, Matthew, Scott, Emma, Ashley, Alyssa, Scott, Kelsey, Matthew, Shawn, Melissa, Madison, Sarah, Joshua and Zachary; great-grandchildren Connor and Emily.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland (646-2424) with visitation on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
