GORMAN, HARRY - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Harry Frederick Gorman which occurred on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1934, he was the son of the late Louis and Florence (Garnett) Gorman. Harry loved music, dancing with Mary and had a great outlook on life. He had a love for his cats and his Irish heritage, he was proud of himself for being the last survivor of his immediate family. Harry worked for 37 years at Commercial Equipment and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 50 years Mary (Haslett); special niece Shawn (Ty) of Saint John, NB; two sisters-in-law and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers James J., Walter L., Edward W., Louis C., Robert P., Thomas G.; Sisters Helen F. Doyle and Barbara Anne Lawlor.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) visitations will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
