We announce the sudden passing of Pearce Goudie at the Palliative Care Unit at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 in his 87th year. He will be forever remembered by his wife Lorraine, Deer Lake, son Gary (Sharon), Deer Lake, daughters: Susan, Fort McMurray, Lorinda (Kent), Springdale, Lois (Dave), North Bay, Patti (Kevin), Deer Lake, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Elias, mother Melinda, brother Max, sister Joan and grandson Justin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 10 Clinic Drive Deer Lake on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 21st at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Deer Lake with Pastor P. Grimes officiating, interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Compassionate Care Program at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church.
