Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Saturday, November 22, 2008, of Mrs. Florence Lauretta Bernard of Souris, aged 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Bernard. Loving mother of Margaret Jarvis, Jackie (Sheila) and Alice (Jim). Sadly missed by grandchildren Marlene MacDonald (David) and Vanessa Bernard. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Margaret Anderson and son-in-law Abner Jarvis. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home, Souris, with no visiting hours by personal request. Funeral to be held Tuesday morning from St. Mary’s Church, Souris, with funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
