It is with great sadness that we the family of the late Marie Agnes (O’Neill) Cadigan announce her passing on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn her sisters: Mary (twin sister) Albert (deceased) Ryan, Margaret (James, deceased) Elliott, Genevieve (Michael, deceased) Cadigan, Elizabeth (Verg) Hansen, Sheila (Charles) Martyn, Regina (Frank) Murphy; sisters-in-law: Shirley (Carberry) O’Neill, Lorraine (Rendell) O’Neill, a large circle of nieces and nephews: O’Neill: Tommy, Peggy (deceased), Judy, Mary, Carol, Sharon and Lori; Ryan’s: Derrick, Sean, Paul, Grant, Frank, Peggy and Stephen; Elliott: Gary, Sandra, Tony, Betty, Debbie and Brian; Cadigan: Deborah, Wayne and Gregory; Hansen: Cathy (deceased), Robin, Daniel and Hans; Martyn: Chuck and Dan; O’Neill: Sean; Murphy: Lisa and Kelly. Predeceased by her husband Paul in June 1997, Parents Thomas O’Neill in 1965, Winnifred (Baker) O’Neill in 1993, brothers: Terrence (Ted) O’Neill in 1988 and Sean O’Neill in 2013. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, TORBAY. Visitation on Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Inurnment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
