1939-2008 The death occurred suddenly at his home on Saturday, November 22, 2008, of Mr. Dennis B. (Denny) Flanagan of Walthen Drive, Charlottetown, aged 69 years. Loving husband of Shirley (MacNeill) Flanagan. Dear father of Stephen (Lori), Shane (Jennifer), Nancy (Jeff) Bowlan. Denny is fondly remembered by his grandchildren Taylor, Tristan, Chase, Shanya, Madalyn, Chesley, sisters and brothers Patricia Murphy, Catherine (Kay) Roach, Pauline (Jack) McClellan, George Flanagan, Dottie (George “Butch”) Ward. Dennis is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Sarah (nee MacLeod) Flanagan, brothers Reginald, Ted, Jack, Jim: sisters Grace and Gail, and three sisters in infancy. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Wednesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. If so desired memorials in Denny’s memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
