(Junior) Passed peacefully away at the age of 72 years after a short battle with cancer at the Palliative Care Unit on March 16, 2008. Son of the late Cyril and Elizabeth Chafe and step-mother Margaret Chafe. Leaving to mourn his wife of 48 years Mary (nee Osmond) who lovingly nursed him and stood by his side during this illness; his seven children: Elizabeth, Carol-Ann (Mississauga), Cyril (Toronto), Ronda, Darlene, Craig (Donna) and Geraldine (Moncton); Grandchildren: Michelle, Kassandra (Mississauga), Korey, Candice, Danielle, Dylan, Marline, Grace, John, and Monica (Moncton); brothers: Ronald (Theresa), Patty (Joan), Bernard (Marlene), Brian (Lucy) (St. Catherine's), John (St. Catherine's) and James Kinsella (Paula); Sisters: Pauline Russell (Al) (Moncton), Betty Pottle (Fred) (Godridge, Ontario), Margaret McKiddle (Jeff) (St. Catherine's); uncle Billy Chafe and aunt Mary Aspell; eight step-brothers and step-sisters; Also leaving to mourn are a large circle of other relatives, friends and the group of friends from the Witless Bay Line. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Monday, March 17 from 6 -9 p.m. and Tuesday March 18 from 1-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday at a time to be announced from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay.
