Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, March 21, 2014. Alice Murphy, age 72 years, predeceased by her parents Patrick and Alice Manning and her brother Jerome Manning. Leaving behind with fond and loving memories, her husband of 51 years, Doug Murphy; her children Scott (Michele), Kelly (Richard Blenkinsopp) and Brad (Vanessa) and her beautiful granddaughter Ashlyn Kelly Murphy. Also leaving her sister Barbara (Les) Mitchell; her brother and sister-in-law Dave and Greta Murphy; special friend Florence Spurrell as well as her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of 1W at the Hoyles Home who cared for Alice over the last year. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation. Funeral Service will take place from Caul's Chapel at 11a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 with inurnment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Alice's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
