It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Mr. Ellis W. Hicks, age 79 yrs of Musgrave Harbour. Ellis passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Pre-deceased by his parents Hedley and Ethel, brother Wilson, sister-in-law Joan and parents-in-law Randolph and Olive Pinsent. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Doris of 56 yrs, three sons Colin (Wavey), Danny and Terry all of Musgrave Harbour, one daughter Charlene Hodder (Roger) of Davidsville, two brothers Harvey (Colleen) of Musgrave Harbour and Ralph (Grace) of Stephenville, three grandchildren Michael (Megan), Roger and Allie, two great-grandchildren Madison and Emma, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from the Salvation Army Citadel in Musgrave Harbour with Majors Barry and Donna Anstey officiating. Interment followed from the Salvation Army Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour-Wesleyville.
