Beloved father and father-in-law of Mary Ruth and Robert Lavin of Quaker Hill, Conn., John and Margaret (Kirkpatrick) Hannon of Bolton, Francis and Paula (Guerin) Hannon of Melrose, Margaret and William Merullo of Wakefield and Michael and Anne Marie (Suswal) Hannon of Winchester. Brother of Mary Farrell of Watertown, Rev. John Mark Hannon (Pastor St. Joseph the Worker Church, Hanson) and the late Thomas Hannon, Sr. Eileen Hannon O.P., and Margaret Hannon. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Francis was a daily communicant and lector at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Belmont, until its closing in 2004, after which he attended St. Columbkille’s Church, Brighton. At Our Lady's Parish, he was appointed the parish's first Eucharistic Minister, a parish council member and member of the Legion of Mary.
