GUIMOND, DIANA (SEYER) - (1920-2014) - RICHIBUCTO, NB - Diana Guimond 94, of Les Résidences du Havre, Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Born in St. Nazaire, Quebec, she was the wife of the late Wilfred Guimond and the daughter of the late Louis Seyer and late Josephine (Robidoux) Seyer. Diana will be deeply missed by her seven children; Marguerite (Gary) Cooper, Jean (Oliva) Guimond, Maurice (Berthe) Guimond, Laurette (Richard) Guenette, Jeanne (Robert) Aucoin, Edna (Aldoria) Robichaud, Claudette Guimond (Bernard Morneau). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two sisters; Delcia (Roland) Smith, Cécile (Philippe) Martial and many nieces and nephews. Diana was predeceased by three daughters; Irène (René) Villeneuve, infants; Edna & Yvonne, one grandson; Marc Villeneuve, five sisters and two brothers.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Saturday at 9:00 am until departure for the church. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:30, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, Saint Charles. Donations in Diana's memory may be made to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the Stella Maris Hospital Palliative Care Unit and at Les Résidences du Havre.
