LEBLANC, ALDONA ELIZABETH - 1925 - 2014 - Aldona Elizabeth LeBlanc passed away quietly at the age of 88, at Villa du Repos, 125 Murphy St., Moncton, NB. Aldona was born in Adamsville, NB; daughter of the late Thomas and Hazel (Arsenault) Cormier. Survived by her brother Camille Cormier (Yvonne) of Moncton and predeceased by her brother Bob Cormier of Ontario and sister Kay Boudreau of Barachois. Aldona was an avid bowler, very good pastry baker, loving mother and wife and volunteered with the Boys and Girls club in Parktown, NB. Aldona will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Joseph Alfred (Fred) and by her 8 loving children; Jeanette LeBlanc of Moncton, Jeanita (Pat) D’Avino of Ontario, Marcia (Gilles) Gaudet of Memramcook, Marina (Fraser) Hornsby of Oromocto, Catherine (Louis) Primeau of Moncton, Thérèse (Chuck) LeBlanc of Moncton, Leo (Diane) LeBlanc of Bouctouche, Anita LeBlanc of Moncton and by her thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Christ du Roi on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 4:00 pm. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery at a later date. Donations in Aldona’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. A special thank you to all the wonderful workers of the Villa du Repos for the excellent care given to Aldona.
