LEE, CALVIN ERNEST- Calvin Ernest Lee, 74 of Newcastle ON, passed away on Friday March 21st, after a short battle with cancer. Calvin was born to the late Joseph and Dorothy Lee on October 13th, 1939 in St. John, New Brunswick. Calvin was a proud family man, a loving husband, father, brother and a doting grandpa. Calvin is survived by his Wife Muriel Lee, Children Derek (Debi) , Gary (Pearl) and Shelley (Rick), beloved grandchildren, David, Ashley, Melony, Meg, Madison and Mason, Brother Doug and Sisters Barbara, Nancy and Sandra. Calvin owned and operated Pickering Village Sports for over 20 years and was very involved in the community. In the early years after moving to Pickering Village, Cal was an active volunteer and Coach with Pickering Village Minor Hockey where many long-time friendships were formed. Calvin served in the Canadian Armed forces for 4 years, and also worked for Burrows and Telex in the computer services field. Calvin loved to travel and took great joy in his vacations with family. Especially the many Disney trips with the whole family.
