Passed on: April 3rd, 2014

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie Julia Kitteridge (Molesworth) Ellis, age 94, on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Northside General Hospital with her beloved daughter Marnie holding her hand.
Born in Trois Rivieres, Quebec on October 6, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Marjorie (Thompson) Molesworth.
Marj loved the out-of-doors, her home in Cape Breton, her family, reading and crossword puzzles. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, a doting grandmother, a supportive mother-in-law and a great friend. Always generous, always with a joke. In her memory, read a good book, hug your kids, pour a stiff drink, have a good piece of chocolate or all of the above.
She is survived by her daughter Marnie, Boularderie Centre, son-in-law Dr. Peter Crosby and grandsons Xander and William Crosby, all of Norwalk, Ohio. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Cecily Molesworth, BC and Joan Molesworth, Trois Rivieres, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband John Ellis; her brothers William and Robert Molesworth; along with special in-laws Pat and Doreen Ellis and Paish and Mack Rourke.
Special thanks to Dr. Stephanie Langley and the nursing staff of 4W, Northside General Hospital, for their care and support and respect.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service by request.
In remembrance of Marj, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
