It is with great sadness that the family of the late Monte Wheeler announce his passing at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray, AB on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the age of 46 years. Monte is survived by his wife Ruby Wheeler; baby girl Stephanie Wheeler; his boy Stephen Wheeler; brother John Wheeler; his niece & nephew, as well as many other relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by mother Elizabeth “Betty” Wheeler. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday 7-9 p.m and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Corner Brook Baptist Church, with Pastor Patrick O’Brien officiating. Interment will follow from Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Following interment, friends are invited to Jennifer’s on Broadway for a reception. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Northern Lights Health Foundation, Fort McMurray, AB.
