(Aug. 15, 1925 - April 5, 2014) - Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on April 5, 2014, Maxwell Rogers, age 88. Predeceased by his parents Mary Jane and Levi "Shotty" Rogers; sisters: Prucilla Ledrew, Stella Howell, Mabel Crawford, Louise Churchill, Phyllis Guthrie; brothers: Harold and Chesley. Leaving to mourn his wife of 62 years Mary "Ivy" Rogers; children: Deborah Wells (Doyle) and Paul (Cindy); grandchildren: Paul Elliott (Meghan), Ashley Rogers-Pennell (Chris), Darren and Heidi Wells; sisters: Violet Parsons and Joan Phillips; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Agnes Pratt Foundation.
