Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Victor, in 1945; her parents Herbert and Nina Chapman, brothers: Stanley, David and Herbert; sisters: Margaret and Florence. Leaving to mourn sister, Shirley Burnett (John), Victoria, B.C.; brother, Tolson Chapman (Ruby), St. John's, NL; as well as nieces: Florence Tucker, Kim Merry, Valerie Chapman, Tanya Chapman, Darlene Stillborne and Susan Taylor; nephews: Dean Chapman, Ralph Chapman, Leonard Fagan, Stanley Fagan and John David Chapman. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 10th and from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 11th. Funeral service on Friday April 11th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd.
