MacDonald, Russell Ronald Joseph - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rusty, with his family by his side he passed away on April 1, 2014, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, after a hard fought battle with cancer. He is now at peace. Rusty lived and loved life to the fullest. He is survived by his love of his life and devoted partner Sherri MacLeod, son Cory, mother Betty Ferris (stepfather Eldon), sister Cheryl MacDonald, brother Randy MacDonald (Nicole), nieces Marie and Jenny Sly, Kelsie and Morgan MacDonald, Maria and nephew Dylan Carragher. Predeceased by his father Duke MacDonald, grandparents Russell and Madeline MacDonald and William and Florance McIllwraith.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday, April 13 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Church on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 12 noon.
