Peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2014, in Toronto at the age of 85. Born in Bristol, England, on October 22, 1928.
Loving husband of Shirley for 60 years. Proud father of Heather Bernard (Blair Jay), Summerside; Sandra Pitts (Reg), Mississauga; David (Allie), Charlottetown. Proud grandfather of Julie, Sheri, Ryan, Stephanie Bernard; Justin, Brandon, Taylor, Mallory Pitts; Peter, Bridget, Hilary Keedwell; and 4 great-grandchildren. Peter enjoyed spending his summers, over the past 50 years, in French River.
A celebration of his life was held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in Toronto. If desired, donations may be made to Camp Triumph Malpeque, P.E.I.
