It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ernest (Ern) Colbourne announce his sudden passing at the age of 67 years. His passing occurred on April 2, 2014 while vacationing in Florida. Ern leaves to mourn his loving wife Betty of 43 years, sons: Tom (Melissa), Paul (Alicia), stepson Craig (Camiele), grandchildren: Danielle (Arthur), Dagney (Andre), Danny (Danielle), Ryder, Ethan, Jakob, Cassie, Noah and his mom Andrea, two great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Nelson. Ern is also survived by brother Willie (Patricia), sisters: Edna (Patrick), Bernice (Major Leighton), Mabel (Norm), Mary (Garfield), brothers-in-law Grenfell (Nancy), Derrick (Mildred), sister-in-law Hope (Alan). He was predeceased by his infant son Ernest Jr. 1975, father Thomas 1970, mother Cassie 1996, nephew Bradley Patey 1999. Ern’s life touched a large circle, including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by the Men’s Group and Congregation of Humber Valley United Church. Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 9, from 7-9 in Bonnell Hall. A service of Celebration will be held at Humber Valley United Church in Pasadena on Thursday morning April 10, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Tony Newell and Rev. Andrew Wright officiating.
