JOHNSON, OVILA - 1930-2014 - ST. CHARLES, NB - Ovila Johnson, 83, of St. Charles passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, St.-Louis-de-Kent on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Born in Acadieville, he was the son of the late Jean-Baptiste Johnson and Célina (Babineau) Johnson. Before retiring, Ovila was employed as a woodsman at D.O.T. and also in the construction industry. Ovila will be sadly missed by his brother: Leo Gallant (Diane) of Toronto, ON; nieces: Murielle Richard (late Mario Richard), Arlene Johnson (Kevin) of St. Charles, Linda Johnson (Doug) of Fort Saint John, BC; nephews: Zoel Johnson of Port Elgin, John Johnson of St. Charles; and sister-in-law: Lucie Johnson of St. Charles. He was predeceased by one brother: Clement Johnson.
Visitation will be at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Friday from 7 to 9 pm, and on Saturday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 am, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles.
