(1927-2014) - Passed peacefully away on April 2, 2014 at Singleton Hospital in Swansea, Wales, Roberta Jeanette Cross, retired bacteriologist at the General Hospital, St. John's. Daughter of the late Dr. G.B. Cross and Mrs. Carrie Cross of Clarenville. Predeceased by her husband Gerald Phillips (March 1, 2014) and her sister Elizabeth Drover. Left to mourn, her sister Marilyn Bartlett and nieces and nephews in Newfoundland and the United States. In her memory donations may be made to the Discovery Health Care Foundation (Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital).
