CLARKE, Doreen (nee Slaney)– April 21, 1931 - December 18, 2008. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, December 18, 2008, Doreen Clarke (nee Slaney), aged 77 years. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Martha Slaney; brothers Ronald and Robert and husband Harry Clarke. Leaving to mourn her nephew Randy Slaney (Olive); sisters-in-law Angela Slaney and Cecilia Little; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. At her request cremation will follow the service.
