Jack Hallam
John Walter “Jack” Hallam, age 84, of Stellarton, formerly of Lovat and Westville, occurred on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Mass., he was a son of the late Samuel and Monica (Foley) Hallam.
Jack grew up in Mass., and served in the Korea War with the U.S. Army after WWII. He worked with Sikorsky Aircraft in the implementation of building helicopters. He received is BSC Degree in 1962. He moved Nova Scotia to be with his Canadian family in 1976 where he continued to work until his retirement.
Jack was predeceased by brothers, Ernest and Wilfred.
He is survived by daughter Monica Kish, Florida.
Jack is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Monday from 7-9 pm. His funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Father Everett MacDow officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery, Westville.
