J. Scott MacDonald, 51, Halifax/Dominion, passed away peacefully at his residence in Halifax on Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
He is survived by his mother Shirley and sister Mary Beth; his father Carl and stepsisters, Kim, Judy and Lisa, along with their families. Also left to mourn are his aunt and two uncles and their families. He will be sadly missed by his cousins in Virginia and California; as well as his long time special friends Cal McNeil and Terry Myles.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Billy and Annie MacDonald, Glace Bay, and Teresa and Rae Marion, Ottawa, stepmother Georgina and several aunts and uncles.
Scott was a long-time employee of Bell Aliant. He had a deep rooted love of music, computers and any anything to do with the internet.
Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., Halifax. Funeral service and internment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the local Children’s Wish Foundation in Sydney, or charity of choice.
