JENSEN, RUTH - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, April 12, 2014, Mrs. Ruth Jensen of New Denmark passed away at the age of 80. She was the wife of the late Elmer Jensen who passed away in 2007. Born at New Denmark in 1933, she was the daughter of the late Carl George and Kristine (Christensen) Jensen. She is survived by four children: Judy (Phillip) Rossignol of Oshawa, Ontario, Harlen (Rhonda) Jensen of Oromocto, Sonja (Michel) Deschênes of Grand Falls and Paul Jensen of Saint John; grandchildren: Denise Colacicco, Adrian (Angela) Rossignol, Erica Wilson, Joseph (Karen) Jensen and Kent Jensen; great-grandchildren: Natalie, Elizabeth, Kara, Jamie, Alyssa, Leanne, Samantha, Katherine and Dylan, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Tuesday, April 15th from 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 16th at 11 a.m. from Bethany Lutheran Church, New Denmark, with Pastor Ralph Weigold officiating.
