HELEN STIK
We, the daughters of Helen Stik, wish to express our deepest gratitude to family and friends who sustained us through our difficult time of loss of our mother. A sincere thank you to all who so thoughtfully sent condolences, flowers, cards, spiritual bouquets, charitable donations, and food. Thank you to the medical staff at New Waterford Consolidated Hospital who gave her excellent care. A special thank you to all the staff at Maple Hill Manor for making it her home for four years and giving her comfort in her final days. For their compassion and service, we thank the staff of McGillivray funeral home, Father Ray Huntley, Deacon Leo and Violet Penny, choir of St Leonard’s, and ladies of the Knights of Columbus. Thank you to her granddaughters, Taushauna Moore, Stevie Philpott, and Nancy Lewis for their participation in the readings and intentions at the funeral mass. You made your Gran proud. Thank you to the pallbearers, namely, her sons-in-law Jim Moore, Louis Ruelland, and Kevin Hanrahan and her grandsons Jim Moore, Michael Moore, and Geoffrey Ruelland who escorted her to her final Mass. May she rest in peace, knowing that she is loved dearly and that her family in their sadness has been surrounded by a caring community.
