PORTER, SHARON D. - 1959 - 2014 - Sharon D. Porter, 54, of Forest Dale Home, Riverside-Albert passed away peacefully on April 21st, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. Sharon was born in Hillsborough on October 25, 1959 the daughter of Claude Porter and the late Eleanor (Jonah) Porter. She worked at METS in Moncton and was a member of the MCRI for many years. Sharon was a very happy person and always greeted everyone with her big smile. She will live on in the hearts of her family forever. She will be deeply missed by her dad, Claude Porter of Germantown; sister, Bonnie Rossiter (Bob) of Germantown and by her very special nephew and niece, Tyler Rossiter (Lisa) of Weldon and Jackie Steeves (Matthew) of Hillsborough; by her precious great niece, Macie; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Eleanor and by two brothers, Gary and Reggie.
Honoring the family's wishes there will be no visitation. A Celebration of her Life and Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, April 24th, 2014 at 1:00pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Interment will be in the Alma United Cemetery, Alma, NB.
