MUISE, Richard Joseph “Rickey” - age 54, Hubbard’s Point, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014. Born in Shelburne, he was the son of the late John and Celeste Muise. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne (LeBlanc) Muise, and a son, Tyler. He is also survived by sisters, Shirley (David) King, Morris Island and Loretta (Gilbert) Frotten, Quinan, as well as by a brother, Paul (Caroline) Muise, Dartmouth. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Milton. Rickey worked at Tusket Ultramar for the past 34 years as a mechanic. He was an avid motorcyclist and he loved boating. He was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever and whenever it was needed. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends and the entire community. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 Thursday evening, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 25 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, Surette’s Island. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Joseph’s Parish Cemetery Fund or to a charity of choice.
