VALLIS, NORMA DAISY - Norma Daisy Vallis went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter to the late John and Janet (King) McInnis. Norma was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was the accountant for her husband’s company Economy Glass and Mirrors in Moncton and also volunteered at the Calvary Baptist Church Camp as cook for many years. She later graduated alongside her husband from Clearwater Christian College in Florida. Norma knitted for “”Guardian Angels Group”, Guardian Drugstore. She was an active member of the First Bible Baptist Church as secretary for the Ladies Missionary Fellowship and a member of Ladies Ensemble. Norma enjoyed quilting, crafts, reading, bird watching and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Karen Vallis (David Estabrooks) of Saint John; brothers Bud McInnis (Stella) of Sylvan Lake, AB and Sterling McInnis of Saint John; one grandson Jonathan Estabrooks (Shelley) of Saint John as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Norma was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Vallis; sister Gloria Shaw and brother Hilyard McInnis.
Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday April 28th at 1:00 p.m. Donations in Norma’s memory can be made to the Diabetes Association, New Brunswick Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or First Bible Baptist Church 218 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, NB E2E 4M5 (Due to family allergies, no lilies please.)
