BEEK, ROGER ALLEN - 1965 - 2014 - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Roger Allen Beek on April 19, 2014 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer at DECH in Fredericton at the age of 49. He is survived by his parents, Vincent and Orella Beek of Doaktown, NB. Brothers Robert (Frances), Anthony Beek (Sharon), Ralph Beek (Roslyn); sisters, Sylvina Mertens (Frank), Geraldine O’Donnell (Cedric) and Rita Beek-Luce (Peter); sister in law Josephine Beek; aunts Sylvia Woodcock, Sylvina Pitre and Laurice Fendley and numerous adoring nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald and nephew Michael. The family would like to thank the staff of the Oncology Dept and Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Everett Chalmer’s Hospital for their wonderful care and concern.
Mr. Roger Allen Beek will rested at Davidson’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Doaktown, with visitation on Wednesday, from 6 to 9. The funeral service was held on Thursday at 2 pm at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Dr Brian J Spence officiating. Burial will take place a little later in the spring at the Anglican Church Cemetery.
