It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and brother-in-law, Geoffrey George Penney, of Port Hope Simpson, age 54 years at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador on April 17, 2014. Born in St. Anthony on April 11, 1960, he was the son of George Penney and the late Sarah Penney. Leaving to mourn are his wife, Joyce; daughters: Stephanie (Shannon), Zena (Blaine), Renee; as well as his two precious grandchildren, Bianca and Theo; brother: Roy (Daphne); sisters: Wavey (Herb), Mary (Cecil), Patsy (Shawn), Greta (Jesse) and Nina (Lewis).
