TRITES, IRENE MAE - 1926 - 2014 - Irene Mae Trites, 87, of Golden Years Estates, Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Born in Turtle Creek, Irene was the daughter of the late Percy and Annie Cole (Fitzsimmons). Irene will be sadly missed by her loving children, Mary Taylor (late William), Harold (Beatrice), Judy Steeves (Jim), Betty Wilson (Everett), Nellie Hurley (late Allen), Freda Kinden, John and Gary (Heather); 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews. In addition to her parents, Irene was predeceased by her husband, Millen; daughter, Emma MacTavish; grandsons, Marc Hurley and Kristopher Kinden; sisters, Margaret Hawkes, Sally Hubbard and Clara Andrews.
Resting at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995). At Irene’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A Graveside Service to be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating.
