It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Warren Hastings age 60 of Amherst announce his peaceful passing on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS.
Born in Amherst, he was the son of Charles “Ron” Hastings of Amherst and the late Joyce (Clarke) Hastings.
Jeffrey was a client of the Bridge Workshop in Amherst for 25 years and participated in all their activities. He was blessed with a very warm friendly personality to the end of his life.
Jeffrey will be sadly missed by his father Ron and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother Joyce (Clarke) Hastings.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS. (902-667-9906)
Rev. Byron Corkum officiated.
Interment will take place at a later date in the Amherst Cemetery.
