Bernard Pilotte
PILOTTE, BERNARD - 1949 - 2014 - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Pilotte, which occurred suddenly in Montreal, April 20th 2014, at 65 years old. He was the husband of Jeannette Pilotte, born Vienneau, and lived in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He will greatly be missed. He had a very long career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, followed by a second career in security at the NB Legislative Assembly. He leaves behind his children Julie (Ryan McBride) and Rachelle (Keith McGilvray), his grandchild Dominic Adair, his brothers Robert (Lise Blais), Richard (Kèro), Jean (Anne-Marie), and his sister Ginette (Sylvain Chapleau), his brothers and sisters-in-law from New Brunswick; as well as many close relatives, work colleagues and friends.
A religious ceremony will be held at 12 pm at Sainte-Anne-des-Pays-Bas church, 715 Priestman Street, Fredericton, and will be followed by a small reception in the church basement. The interment of his ashes will occur in Beresford at a later date, to be determined.
