LOCKE, Irene Clara– Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family and friends on December 18, 2008. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Carrie Ivany and brother Clarence Ivany. Leaving to mourn her husband Chesley along with her son Paul and his wife Veronica; daughters: Cathy and husband Bob, Sandy and husband Dean, Tracey and husband Gilles; grandchildren: Bobby, Denah (DJ), Gillian, Samantha, Christine, Brandon, Victoria, Emily and Mathieux; great-grandchild Liam; her sister Joan Mercer and brothers Harold, Cyril and Douglas as well as many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre and Dr. Stringer. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, December 19, 2008 from 7-9 p.m., on Saturday, December 20th, 2008 and Sunday, December 21st, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Logy Bay Road on Monday, December 22nd, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
