CORMIER, FLORENCE - Florence Cormier of Foyer Saint Thomas (formerly of Lakeburn) passed away at her residence on Friday May 2, 2014 at the age of 89. Born on October 17, 1924 in St-Joseph, she was the daughter of the late Philias Cormier and the late Ruth LeBlanc. She is survived by her three daughters, Ruth (Dollard) LeBlanc of La Montain, Charline (Mauril) Leger of Lakeburn and Marie (Oscar) Melanson of Dieppe; one son, Daniel (Janice) Cormier of La Montain; three sisters, Angela (Edouard) Gould of Shediac, Marie (late Alfred) Boudreau of Dieppe and Anita (late Fred) Melanson of St-Joseph; one brother, Alphonse (Therese) Cormier of Shediac; 11 grandchildren: Gilbert, Conrad, Raymond, Anne, Joline, Pierre, Claire, Luc, Gilles, Gabrielle, Renée; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Bernice and Annette and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Maxime (2010), one daughter Gisele (1973), six sisters Evangeline, Alma, Pascaline, Alice (infant), Beatrice (infant), Alphonsine (infant) and by four brothers, Paul, Andre, Antoine and Leonard.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Sunday May 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Monday May 5 at 11:00 am.
