LAILA BRAY
January 18, 1915 – May 3, 2014
Laila Mae Bray passed away peacefully on May 3, 2014, surrounded by her family, at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her parents Karl and Helga Skonnard, husband Dr. Lloyd Bray, daughter Gail Bray, grandson Scott Bray, son-in-law Barry Pattullo; sisters Ruth Spear and Esther Braaten. She is survived by her children: David (Shirley) Bray, Leanne Pattullo, and Lyndon (Sherilyn) Bray; cherished by her grandchildren Ryan (Candice) Pattullo, Kimberly Pattullo, Steven Bray, Ciara (Ryan) Cullen, Samantha (Darryl) Knaus, Teisha Bray and great-grandchildren Madison, Hailey, and William, and step-grandchildren Mikaela, Jacob, and Luke Sawatzky. Lovingly remembered by her sister Orpha Davey, brother-in-law Jack (Elaine) Bray, sister-in-law Arlene Bray; and numerous nieces and nephews. Laila cherished her family and friends and can be remembered for her generous spirit, smile, and pleasant, easy going personality. A Celebration of Laila’s life will be held at Zion United Church 423 Main St. N., Moose Jaw on Thursday May 8, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Linda Owens will officiate, assisted by Reverend Doug Hallman. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Zion United Church would be appreciated.
