It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Renna MacIntyre. Born and brought up in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Rannie and Mamie MacIntyre (MacKay). She resided at the senior citizen’s complex on Kennedy Dr. for a number of years. She was a lifetime member of St. Anne’s Church, CWL and the Canadian Reserve Army Forces. Renna was a member and worked for the Canadian Legion, Branch #3, Glace Bay. She will be sadly missed by her cousins, Eldean Shanks (Batten) and Donnie Batten. Throughout her final years, Renna was well looked after by the staff of Taigh Na Mara. Thank you for all of your support. At her request, her remains have been donated to Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine. There will be no service at her request.
