It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clyde Tucker of Reef's Harbour announces his passing at Charles Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Monday, May 5, 2014 in his 83rd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Eliza; daughter Wavey (Marcell), and Glenda; granddaughters Karla (Corey), and Keri (Darrell); great-granddaughters Abigail and Marissa; grandsons Marcus and Ryan; sisters Josie and family, Sylvia and family; brother Harold and family; brothers-in-law Harrison (Jessie), Stewart (Bessie), Angus and family, Noah (Georgina), Samuel (Linda), and Clarence; sisters-in-law Selina and family, Jessie (Hayward) and family, Mahalla and family, Effie and family. Loved by a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his son Gilbert, grandson Kent, son-in-law John, parents Philemon and Mary, parents-in-law Sam and Evangeline, brothers Joseph, Philip (Minnie), Nathaniel (Virg), sister Bridgette (Abe), sister-in-law Julie, brothers-in-law Tom and Edmund, Chesley, Tom, Jake, Ed, Ren, and Gidd, sisters- in-law Hazel, Lucy (Leander), Mamie. Visitation took place at St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church in Reef’s Harbour on Tuesday evening and Wednesday from where the funeral service was held on Thursday, May 8 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Interment followed at French Cove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
