The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, of Eleanor Christina Lapp, of Summerside, aged 88 years. Born in Ottawa, ON, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle "Susan" (McWilliam) Wimperis, and stepdaughter of the late Hilda (Payne) Wimperis. Survived by her children Thomas Charles "Chuck" (Sherri Cline), Anne Elizabeth (David) Krabill, Allan Keith (Trish Kinshella), Gordon Nelson (Micheline), Ruth Christina (Brian) March; grandchildren Michael Lapp, Justin and Travis Cline; Martha Krabill (Eli Gonzalez); Grace Krabill (Paul Lytle); Paul and Ben Krabill; Victoria, Andrea, Rachel and Alison Lapp; Alex Lapp; Elizabeth March; brother Bill Wimperis, Ottawa, ON; sisters-in-law Marion Wimperis, Ottawa, ON, and Ethel Lapp, Hamilton, ON. Predeceased by her husband Keith Lapp; infant daughter Martha; grandson Allan Krabill; brother Eldon Wimperis and sister Lois Whealy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, May 22, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday, May 21, from 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
