At the Riverview Manor the passing of Elsie Ross (nee Dingwell), in her 93rd year, formerly of Fortune Bay, PE, devoted wife of the late Frederick Ross, occurred on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Born on September 23, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth (Chaffey) Dingwell. Elsie resided in Ontario, for over 30 years prior to moving back to Prince Edward Island.
Elsie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her loving son, Earl Ross; cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, Faye Llewellyn, Liz Ross-Moore (Trevor), Lisa Ross-Vander Wal (Jim), Micheal Morley, Kristi Livingstone (Cory), Catherine Arenthals (Josh), Mark Llewellyn, Richard Moore, Sarah Llewellyn, Tori Vander Wal, R.J. Moore, Ryder Livingstone and Ellie Arenthals.
Elsie was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Ross; brother, Joe Dingwell; and sister, Maggie Jane Judson.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, from the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Dundas Community Cemetery.
