Amos, Joan E. – 54, of West Brook passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 8, 2014 at home. Born in Kingston, Ont., she was a daughter of Joe and Jean (Peters) Kehoe, of Kingston, Ont. Joan was a homemaker all of her life, though she worked periodically at Tim Hortons in Parrsboro and Sackville, and at Oxford Frozen Foods, Halfway River. She was an active and dedicated member of the Southampton Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lionel; daughters, Patricia Amos (Ken Duncan), Goshen; Tracy, Truro; son, Robert (Sara Hunter), Harrison Settlement; sisters, Pat (Rob), Marj, Jean (Darrell), Susan (Avery), Peggy; a brother, Don, all of Kingston, Ont.; eight grandchildren, Daymond, Brooklynn, Xavier, Logan, Mason, Keisha, Destiny, Westin. She was predeceased by a brother, Brian. Visitation 6-8 p.m. on Sunday [May 11, 2014] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Monday [May 12, 2014], Rev.
