Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Friday, May 9, 2014, Peggy Dowden formerly of Creston South, Newfoundland. Predeceased by her parents Esau and Mahala Dowden; her brother Leslie Dowden, and his wife Madeline (2013 in Ontario). Leaving to mourn, her niece Anne Marie Dowden (husband, Danilo Kozulic), and her great-niece Alyssa Kozulic of Georgetown, Ontario; cousins: Doreen Stone (Harold) of St. John's, and Paulette Brake (Bob) of Kelligrews; as well as many more cousins, friends, and neighbours - including special neighbours Don & Maureen Norman, and a very special thank you to her many caregivers. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, May 12, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and at St. Michael's Anglican Church, Creston South, on Tuesday, May 13, from 11:30am-1:30pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Michael's Anglican Church, Creston South, on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at St. Michael's Anglican Cemetery.
