GAY, EVELYN - Evelyn Gay of Moncton, formerly of People’s Park Tower, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on May 11, 2014 at the age of 91. Born in Surrey, NB, July 5, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Martha (Murray) Mitton. Evelyn is survived by her children, William Gay of Moncton, Barbara (Harold) Joyce of Ottawa, Brenda Gay LPN of Moncton and Brian Gay of Moncton. She is also survived by her several grandchildren, great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, Evelyn is predeceased by her husband Albert Gay of 69 years.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. A reception will be held following the funeral service in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
