The family of the late Jean G. Brake would like to extend a most sincere thank you to everyone who supported them in each and every way following the loss of our loved one.

A thank you to Dr. David Jones and all the medical staff of the 4th floor, Health Sciences Complex in St. John’s. Thank you to Dr. Chris Whitten and the staff of the 3rd Floor, WMRH, and especially to the staff of the 4th Floor Chemotherapy Unit who were superb in their care and treatment of our Jean since August, 2013.

We thank all those who took the time to come to the funeral home and share their fond memories of her and thank you to all who made In Memoriam donations to Jean’s favourite charities. The many cards received were especially consoling.

A huge thank you to Rev. Tanya White and the choir of All Saints Anglican Church for a most impressive memorial service that will be everlasting in our hearts and memories. Thank you as well to the Outreach Committee for a wonderful display of food and refreshments following the service.

Thank you to members of Jean’s chapter of Beta Sigma Phi along with members of the other city based chapters for participating as Guard of Honour as well as their personal comfort and the variety of donations during our grief.

A special thank you to Jean’s Legal Circle of friends who were very close to her heart and have been for a long, long time, all of whom added a special touch to the memorial service. To Fillatre’s Funeral Home for their special consideration and professionalism in easing us through a very difficult process.

Thank you and Thank you again, for the overwhelming donation of food for our family making our lives just that much easier in getting through.

Jean’s expression would probably be “All this for me?”
