Passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on May 14, 2014, Joan Marie Taylor. Our Mom Joan was born in St. John's on October 28, 1934. She is survived and sadly missed by her children: Garry Taylor of Mount Pearl, Valerie Dozorec of Melville, Saskatchewan, and Georgina Taylor of Sechelt, British Columbia. Mom is also survived by her loving sisters: Betty Allex and Shirley Neuss. Thank you for your steadfast support. She is also survived by grandchildren: Christopher, Tyler, Kim, Chrissy, Mandy; and great-grandchildren: Chloe, Xander, Talyn, Radly and Ella; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Ray Taylor, and parents George and Frances (Fanny - nee Stoyles) Emberly; brothers: Bill, Ralph, Eric, Otto; sisters: Phylis Hezzelwood and Viola Nixon. A celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from Barrett's Mount Pearl Chapel. In continuing the celebration of her life a gathering will be held at the Petty Harbour Community Centre from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
