KEARSEY, Elizabeth – Passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008 at Chancellor Park, Elizabeth Kearsey, age 81 years. Predeceased by her husband James Kearsey; two sisters: Rose and Delores; brothers: Gus and Richard. Leaving to mourn lifelong partner and friend, Bill Phillips; her seven sons: James, Wallace (Carol), Rick (Beverley), Keith (Patricia), Edward, Tony (Michelle) and Rodney (Karen); three daughters: Patricia (Brian), Deborah (Nick) and Linda (Jim); sisters: Pauline Prowse and Helen Clancey; brothers: Mike, Francis (Jean) and Gerald (Gail); as well as a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, December 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; Wednesday, December 24 from 2-4 p.m. and Friday, December 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
