The death occurred peacefully, on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital of Cindy Elaine Lava of Heatherdale Road, age 46 years.
Beloved wife of Etienne Lava. Dear mother of Jacob and Kimberley Lava. Cindy is also survived by her mother, Shirley (nee MacDonald); stepfather, Leigh Peterson; and father and mother-in-law, Frank and Dinah Lava; brothers, Roger (Donna) Crane, Brendon (Carol) Crane, Jason (Patricia) Shepard; brother and sisters-in-law, Theresa (Ivan) Hardy, Rose (David) Viaene, Eric (Hilary) Lava; aunts and uncles, Elaine (Sterling) Baker, Beryl (Tony) Lutz, Eleanor (Joel) LaFleur, Allison (Sonya) MacDonald, Debbie (Dave) Gorveatt, Lois Crane, Isabelle (Fred) Vaerewyck; nieces and nephews, Tyler Crane, Travis Crane, Ellen Crane, Bennett Crane, Dustin Gunn, Devon Gunn, Crystal Hardy, Jason Hardy, Tonia (Nick) Fraser, Trisha Viaene and Zachary Lava-Purchase.
Predeceased by her father, Bennett Crane; aunt, Hannah (Donald) Shaw; uncle, Wendell Crane; and cousin, Kimberley Bujosevich.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with funeral mass to be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 11 a.m., from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Montague. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
